Mission Four of the Moose: Create Some Interest Membership Campaign Comes to a Close

Mission Four of the Moose: Create Some Interest membership campaign has come to a close. For each application submitted from February 1 – April 30, 2012, sponsors received an entry in a drawing to win a home entertainment system, which contained a flat screen TV, a Blu-ray DVD player and a surround sound system. There were 13 weekly drawings held during the incentive period.

Each winning sponsor’s Lodge also benefited from his efforts, as the Lodge received a 60-inch flat screen TV for the Lodge home. Let me start off by saying THANK YOU to everyone who has participated in our success over the past few months. Many of you have given of your time and money to support the lodge. A special thanks to Terry Stanley, Dwight Wilkens and Steve Sleigh for the hard work they did in the kitchen cleanup, painting, and maintenance of the building and to Jim Horner for stripping and buffing the floors. Many of you have volunteered your time to help with the many projects being undertaken. I am keeping a list and promise a payback soon.

Finally, we are getting better. Our Pot-O-Gold bonanza was profitable, as was our share of the BMA Snowball Festival. Our bills are being kept current and our debt to Moose International is being reduced monthly. Again, let me say thank you to each one of you who are contributing to our success. See you at the Town Hall Meeting on April 22nd!

Ron Byers,
Acting Administrator
